Reading Series Info

What:
Two Cookie Minimum is a reading series that began in July 2010. The aim is to brings together emerging writers and self publishers, attempting to give new writers a forum and to highlight the Chicago zine community. 

When/Where:
The reading series is on the Second Tuesday of each month from May-September 2015 at the the Comfort Station 2579 N. Milwaukee Ave in Logan Square at 8pm. Entry is free unless noted (such as when we have readers from out of town or sponsor a fundraiser). Cookies are served at each event (all are vegan and free to eat). The readings are all ages.

How:
To Read, submit your original work to twocookieminimum@gmail.com. Put Two Cookie Minimum Submission in the subject. Copy and paste your work into the body of the email to ensure there will not be compatibility issues with various file formats. Or if you have work posted online, send a link.

Work should range from 500-2000 words max. Include your name, email address, and a short bio (2-3 lines). You will receive an email for us within 4-6 weeks upon receiving your piece. Since readings are seasonal, you may be considered for future events. Submissions are accepted year round.
